ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Irene Blair Honeycutt
Irene Blair Honeycutt is an award-winning poet, author, and educator. She has written four books. She was a long- time faculty member of Central Piedmont Community College, where she taught English and creative writing.
Beyond her teaching role she founded and directed the CPCC’s Sensoria Literary Festival for 29 years, a major cultural event in Charlotte, attracting renowned writers, poets, and artists.
Her honors include the establishment of the Irene Blair Honeycutt Distinguished Lectureship. Her poetry reflects her deep connection to nature, spirituality, and human experience.
